We regard the wellbeing and safeguarding of each child and young person as paramount.

Here at Safe Journey we regard the wellbeing and safeguarding of each child and young person as paramount.

Our policies and procedures are all in accordance with the most up to date laws and legislation for working with children and young people. If you require seeing our policies and procedures for either safeguarding or child protection then please contact us.

OFFICIAL-image-1-Safe-Guarding--300x265Safe Journey has a duty of care to be committed to safeguarding and for the welfare of all children and young people we work with to protect them from physical, emotional or sexual abuse and neglect.  This applies to children and young people that we work with either directly, or indirectly through another organisation.

Confidentiality is important when working with children or young people. However, sometimes disclosures can be made by a child or young person and we may have to break that confidentiality in order to protect the individual, or another individual, if we believe that they are at risk of immediate harm. Where there is a risk of immediate harm, children’s services and/or police will be informed immediately. Safe Journey will review safe guarding policies and procedures on an annual basis.
