‘Personal Wellbeing Award’ – NOCN Level 1 – Year 8 & above
We deliver our bespoke wellbeing award in partnership with NOCN, a GCSE equivalent course which is underpinned with Protective Behaviours strategies and CBT. Our award keeps ‘feeling safe’ at the heart of learning for every young person and looks to create healthy narratives in how we think and feel, ultimately leading to how we behave. Units on the award consist of; ‘Mental Health & Wellbeing’ – become more resilient and improve thinking skills, ‘E-Safety’ – aware of dangers linked to the internet and the impact and consequences, ‘Consent’ – being mindful of what our rights are and how to conduct ourselves within the modern world. The Personal Wellbeing Award is to create Mental Health Champions within schools and create a culture of change so that all children feel safe and empowered.
‘Little Roots’ safeguarding and social cohesion project – Yrs 3 to 5
Little Roots is a 10 week social cohesion project underpinned using Protective Behaviours and keeps ‘mutual respect’ and ‘feeling safe’ right at the heart of learning and how we live our daily lives. Each session is linked to elements for the new PSHE mandatory criteria for 2026, and links to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). ‘Parental awareness workshops’ for radicalisation and the online world
Our 2 hour workshop was put together with Rewind UK, a Home Office approved organisation to increase the awareness and ‘skill up’ parents around the dangers of radicalisation and the online world and to learn simple Protective Behaviours strategies to support the whole family, These sessions can be delivered during the day or in the evening.
‘Jump’ exam ready short course –
KS2 to KS5
Jump is a 6 week pre-exam readiness workshop that empowers pupils to stay in control and manage their Feelings, Thoughts and Behaviours around exam time. It deals with the initial moment when pupils know their exam dates, during revision, the exam itself and practical steps to take if their exams didn’t go as well as they’d hoped.
Mentoring Programmes
We deliver 1-to-1 and group mentoring to support children and young people who may be struggling in life for a variety of reasons and from varied backgrounds. Our role is to increase self worth and resilience, improve thinking skills and to help create solution focused outcomes by using a blend of CBT and Protective Behaviours strategies in a safe, fun and interactive way. By working alongside individuals and helping them to understand why they might be feeling how they do, we can then seek to improve life at home, in school and in the wider community. Some young people within the mentoring programme have gone on to support their own community through Local Authority and Safe Journey Education projects with great success. Please ring us if you would like to discuss this in more detail, as this delivery will have a bespoke approach.
